All Chatham hockey players born during 1997 through 2003 are welcome to come to a Christmas Eve skate in the morning.
Schedule:
8:45a 2001s (rink 3)
9:00a Mites (rink 2)
10:15a 2000s (rink 3)
11:45a 99s-97s (rink 3)
As in prior years we will split the children into equal squads for Chatham v. Chatham games.
Coffee, bagels, juice, doughnuts, and pizza provided.
Why?
Get the kids out of your hair before the holiday.
Tire them out before the BIG NIGHT.
HAVE A WHOLE LOT OF FUN!!!!
Price of $25 per skater covers everything.

Registration for the 2010-11 Chatham Youth Hockey Fall/Winter season is now OPEN.
You may register your youth or Middle School player using the 'Programs' tab on the menu to the left.
As in prior years we anticipate approximately 90-100 players in this year's program. Please sign up ASAP as certain leagues limit the number of players we may have on the roster. Roster spots for League games will be apportioned based on signup date in the event we need to limit the number of players on the roster.
The Chatham Youth Hockey Program will be competing in the Twin Oaks League, the MCYHL (Mennen), and will offer some independent games. League and practice participation varies by team, please see details below. Practices will be held at the Prudential Center's practice rink in Newark on Saturday and Sunday mornings from mid-September through early March. There will be approximately 45 practices for participating players.
Our 2010-2011 Parents meeting will be held on Sept. 8th at the Chatham Township Municipal building on Meyersville Road from 7:00-8:00PM. Additional details and Q&A will be available.
We will hold an evaluation skate on Sept. 15th at Twin Oaks to allow us to appropriately place the players:
6:00-7:30 PM for Mites
7:30-9:00PM for Squirts
Teams this season:
Chatham Reds (Mite). Open to any player born 2002 or later. Appropriate for beginners (who know how to skate) through children who have one or two seasons of hockey experience. We will schedule independent games as in past years. All players born in 2004 need to register for this program. Based on the evaluation skate and roster openings a limited number of 2004 birth year players may be invited to play on the Blue/White teams. Mite Red players will participate in approximately 20 games and 45 practices. The program cost is $1,195.
Chatham Blue and White (Mite). Open to any player born in 2002 or 2003 who has multiple seasons of experience. Based on the evaluation skate two equal teams comprised of both house and travel players will be formed. Each team will be entered in both Twin Oaks and MCYHL and all players will have the option to skate in approximately 36 games. House players will also have approximately 45 practices. The cost for the program is $1,625 (House) or $525 (Travel - games only).
Chatham Squirts. Open to any player born in 2000 or 2001. This year we will run the Squirt program a bit differently. The house-only players will have two weekend practices and will be registered as a team (Chatham) in the Twin Oaks league. These house-only players will then be divided and combined with Chatham travel players to form two equal teams and each team will be registered in MCYHL (White and Blue). House-only players will have approximately 45 practices and 36 games. Travel players will participate only on their MCYHL team which will play approximately 18 games. The cost for the program is $1,625 (House) or $350 (Travel - MCYHL games only).
Please make sure you register your child correctly as there are multiple options reflecting the program offerings above. You will need your USA Hockey number to register.
Prior to the evaluation skate we need an executed Medical and Liability Release form. We are also having the players complete a Code of Conduct form. Both forms are available under the 'Documents' tab on the dropdown menu.

posted 09/14/2010 Please remember that any child participating in CYH should attend the evaluation skates at Twin Oaks on September 15 for Mites (6:00pm) and Squirts (7:30pm).

.....but you don't want to be at the rink this Winter without your Chatham Hockey blanket!
Only a limited number remain available. Measuring 5' by 5' it will keep the most robust hockey fan warm and comfortable.
